Collage

I had the privilege to spend half a year travelling Europe and absorbing new experiences while creating art. During this period, I had the chance to experiment on collage medium and practiced and experimented more into the pictorial conventions of it. In my collages through generating, collaging, and juxtaposing my self portraits, hand writings, print imagery and organic materials, I insert absurdity as a breakpoint to equalize the imbalance.

"Fragmentations" is a 3 piece collage work I created using my self portrait photographs and organic shapes. This project is a product of questionings about self image in the public sphere and the urge of an escape to face this self image.
